Special Education Teacher for the 2020-21 school year Stanley County School District 57-1 has an opening for a Special Education teacher. This position could be either elementary or high school, depending on your experience and certifications. This position requires a SD teaching certification in Special Education. The school workday is from 7:30-4:00 and duties include planning for and teaching special education students in the classroom setting. Stanley County is a four-day school week with additional hours on Fridays, as assigned. Applicants should include areas of expertise such as autism training, early childhood transition, and/or emotional/behavioral disorders. Coaching preferred but not mandatory. Benefits include health insurance, personal and sick leave, and SD retirement. Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Stanley County School District is accepting applications for a certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the 2020-2021 school year. Successful candidates will have the proper SLPA certification from the State of South Dakota. This position would assist the SLP with direct speech-language intervention services and assisting students in the classroom or small groups. Stanley County is a four-day school week.
