Jennifer Milliken reported all the rural school computers are connected to the middle school science lab for video-conferencing for science classes.  The problem encountered now is that only one computer at a time can be connected to the classroom.  The technology coordinator is currently searching for a remedy.  The Board suggested contacting the Bureau of Information and Telecommunications office in Pierre for any help with this problem.  The Board thanked Jennifer Milliken for helping with the computers for the last few days.

Brown moved, seconded by Bucholz, to rescind the open enrollment application approved on October 10, 2000.  All voted aye.

The Board discussed contracting with Associated School Board of South Dakota and McPherson & Jacobson Consultants or for the Board to conduct its own superintendent search. The cost of the contract for phases one through four is $3,400.00, plus expenses.  The Board requested opinions from the public in attendance at this meeting on this proposal.
