Special School Board Meeting

25, 2013

The Stanley County School District, #57-1, Board of Education met in special session June 25, 2013 at 12:15 P.M., in the Learning Center at the Middle High School with Sarah Carter, Gary Johnson, and Tina Titze present. Rick Cronin attended via conference call. Nicole Prince was absent. Others in attendance were Superintendent Dan Martin, Business Manager Jessi Fromm, and Dawn Stover. Visitors were Kerry Smith and Allison Jarrell.

President Carter called the meeting to order at 12:15 P.M.

President Carter led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Johnson moved, seconded by Titze, to adopt the agenda. Roll Call: Titze – aye, Johnson – aye, Cronin – aye, Carter – aye.

Titze moved, seconded by Johnson, to adopt the consent Calendar. Roll Call: Titze – aye, Johnson – aye, Cronin – aye, Carter – aye.

The Building Committee did not bring forth any recommendations. Kerry Smith with Sharpe Enterprises presented an updated progress schedule for the Board to review.

Cronin moved, seconded by Johnson, to approve the Senior Citizen Meal Price proposal for the 2013–2014 school year as presented by Mr. Martin. He recommended increasing the lunch price by five (5) cents per meal after discussing with Pat Duffy. Roll Call: Titze – aye, Johnson – aye, Cronin – aye, Carter – aye.

Mr. Martin updated the Board on vehicle purchase options, practice football field, building and grounds maintenance.
