The Stanley County School District, #57-1, Board of Education met in special session January 10, 2012 in the K-2 Building Cafeteria with Nicole Prince, John Duffy, Sarah Carter and Tina Titze present. Sonny Harrowa was absent. Others in attendance were Superintendent Don Hotalling, Business Manager Jessi Fromm and Principals Timothy Hollar and Brian Hartwig, and Special Education Director Krystal Simons. Visitors were Brian Menning, Rachel Menning, Shirley Swanson, Vera Cronin, Anita Wyly, John Moisan, Brad Schreiber, Tobby Morris, Larry Mettler, Travis Sichmeller, Andy Schauaman, Brad Gienger, Beth Todd, Bob Ricketts, Dean Marske, Linda Brown, Rich Gloe Jr., Tony Mangan, Jeri Wilcox, Barb Rose, Curt Mortenson, Bill Leimbach, Jeri Wiezorek, Dawn Stover, Jerry Kleinsasser, Dusty Hoftiezer, Carol Olson, Darby Nutter, Gary Grittner, Brad Stover, Karen Sharp, Bob Jefferies, Kim VanDenHemel, David Larson, Jeri Thomas, and Kevin Carter.
Vice President Nicole Prince called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. Vice President Nicole Prince led the pledge of allegiance Duffy moved, seconded by Titze to adopt the agenda. All voted aye. Prince declared the Board in recess for the Public Hearing of a proposed K-5 building at 7:06 p.m. Prince declared the Board out of recess and back in session at 8:42 p.m. Duffy
