The Stanley County School District, #57-1, Board of Education met in special session February 3, 2012 at 12:05 P.M. in the Business Manager’s office of the elementary building with Nicole Prince, John Duffy, and Tina Titze present. Sarah Carter attended via conference call. Sonny Harrowa was absent. Others in attendance were Superintendent Don Hotalling and Business Manager Jessi Fromm. Visitor was Gary Johnson.
Vice President Nicole Prince called the meeting to order at 12:05 P.M.
Vice President Nicole Prince led the pledge of allegiance.
Duffy moved, seconded by Titze to adopt the agenda. All vote aye.
Duffy moved, seconded by Titze to approve the resignation of Sonny Harrowa. All voted aye
Prince was moved to the President’s position.
Prince asked for nomination for Vice President.
Titze moved, seconded by Carter to appoint Duffy to Vice President.
Prince declared nominations closed.
Titze moved, seconded by Duffy to authorize Nicole Prince, Jessi Fromm, and Dr. Hotalling to be signatures on all depository funds. All voted aye.
Duffy moved, seconded by Titze to approve the advertisement for the Board Vacancy. All voted aye.
Titze moved, seconded by Duffy to have all applications for the Board position submitted to the Business Office by 5:00 P.M. central time on February 17, 2012. All voted aye.
A special board meeting will be at 7:00 P.M. on February 20, 2012 in the High School conference room to review the applications.
Titze moved, seconded by Duffy, to adjourn at 12:17 P.M. All voted aye.
