Special School Board Meeting

April
9, 2012

The Stanley County School District, #57-1, Board of Education met in Special Session April 9, 2012, 5:30 P.M., at the Learning Center in the Middle/High School Building with Nicole Prince, John Duffy, Sarah Carter, Tina Titze, and Darby Nutter present.. Others in attendance were Superintendent Don Hotalling, and Business Manager Jessi Fromm.  Visitors were Shirley Swanson, Carol Olson, Bob Iversen and Tim Tobin,

President Nicole Prince called the meeting to order at 5:31 P.M.

President Nicole Prince led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Duffy moved, seconded by Titze to approve the agenda.

Nicole Prince asked John Duffy and Tina Titze open the two sealed bleacher bids.

Bid one was from Seating and Athletic Facility Enterprises, LLC, which was for Telescopic Seating System manufactured by Interkel for the total materials delivered and installed for $129,544.00

Bid two was from Combined Building Specialties for Telescopic Seating System for materials and installed for $131,473.00. Combined Building Specialties included the option to remove the existing bleachers for an additional $4,151.00.

The board reviewed the two bids.

Tim Tobin from Seating and Athletic Facility Enterprises, LLC was present and answered questions from the Board regarding the bleachers. Mr. Tobin also displayed a sample bleacher.

The decision for the bleachers was tabled until the regular board meeting allowing the Board time to discuss options with the Stanley County School Foundation.

Nutter moved, seconded by Duffy to adjourn at 6:55 P.M. All voted aye.
