The Stanley County School District, #57-1, Board of Education met in special session December 16, 2010, at 12 Noon, in the Superintendent’s Office with Sonny Harrowa, Tina Titze, Nicole Prince and Darby Nutter present. John Duffy was absent. Others in attendance were Superintendent Don Hotalling, Business Manager Jessi Fromm and Principal Brian Hartwig.
President Sonny Harrowa called the meeting to order at 12:16 P.M.
President Sonny Harrowa led the pledge of allegiance.
Nutter moved, seconded by Titze, to adopt the agenda. All voted aye.
Nutter moved,
seconded by Prince, to go into Executive Session for contract
reasons pursuant to SDCL 1-25-2 at 12:17P.M.
President Sonny Harrowa declared the Board out of Executive Session at 12:58 P.M.
Nutter moved, seconded by Harrowa, to purchase the land from Bernard E. Duffy, and Margaret M. Duffy on a contract for deed to be paid over four years. Nutter, Harrowa and Prince voted aye. Titze voted nay.
Nutter moved, seconded by Harrowa to approve the Business Manager Jessi Fromm to make a payment to Bernard E. Duffy, and Margaret M. Duffy for the first Contract for Deed payment. Nutter, Harrowa, and Prince voted aye. Titze voted nay.
Titze moved, seconded by Prince, to adjourn at 1:00 P.M. All voted aye.
