Special School Board Meeting
June 16, 2008

The Stanley County School District, #57-1, Board of Education met in special session June 16, 2008, 12:05 P.M. in the Superintendent’s Office of the Elementary Building with Sonny Harrowa, John Duffy, Darby Nutter and Bridget Miller present. Mork Norman was absent. Also in attendance were Superintendent Brad Caldwell and Business Manager Kevin Merscheim.

President Sonny Harrowa called the meeting to order at 12:05 P.M.

President Sonny Harrowa led the pledge of allegiance.

Miller moved, seconded by Nutter, to go into Executive Session for personnel reasons according to SDCL 1-25-2 at 12:06 P.M. All voted aye.

President Sonny Harrowa declared the Board out of Executive Session at 12:34 P.M.

Miller moved, seconded by Nutter, to approve the resignation for Quentin Cermak from teaching and coaching with the stipulation that liquidated damages of $400 will be deducted from the final paycheck in August, 2008, as per certified negotiation agreement policy. Harrowa, Miller and Nutter voted aye. Duffy voted no.

Miller moved, seconded by Duffy, to adjourn at 12:36 P.M. All voted aye.
